About us
Eduscientia. Divulgación de la ciencia educativa is an electronic journal that publishes research and disclosure on educational science, based on the various scientific fields that provide perspectives for the advancement of education nationally and internationally. It is aimed at researchers, specialists, professors and undergraduate and graduate students related to the educational field, as well as the general public interested in these topics.
It is a biannual publication that aims to promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences as well as academic debate to close the gaps in the understanding of educational processes through the publication of original works in two aspects: The research has as one of its premises disseminate the knowledge or findings among the scientific community using a specialized discourse and meeting criteria with methodological rigor, and disclosure that has the purpose of extending specialized knowledge to the general public through the use of a colloquial language that allows the people access and understand topics/aspects to understand their reality. Each of these sections contains different types of contributions:
Research. It is integrated by Research article, Short note, Experience and Innovation Report, Theoretical/documentary Review Article.
Disclosure. Includes Educational/Scientific disclosure article, Analysis and Perspective and Letter to the editor.
About the name
The name of Eduscientia is associated with two words, one in Spanish and the other one in Latin, edu (education): action and effect of educating, developing or perfecting the intellectual and moral faculties; and scientia, Latin word meaning knowledge set, derived in turn from the verb scire, which means to know.
Open access policy
This magazine is in favor of offering free and immediate access to its content. It does not receive any remuneration for publishing manuscripts; neither to verify its content. It maintains the premise of making research work available and sharing it with the scientific community in order to increase global knowledge.
Copyright cession
The authors agree not to submit their article to any other journal, unless their publication in Eduscientia. Divulgación de la ciencia educativa is expressly declined. When the article is approved, the rights are automatically transferred and authorized to be published on Eduscientia. Storage
This magazine uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed file among participating libraries, which allows these libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
